The Gogglebox pair from Sandwich, Dom and Steph Parker will be grilling Ukip leader Nigel Farage in a TV special tonight.

The pair met the leader of Ukip and Thanet South prospective parliamentary candidate at their Sandwich home for a "rip-roaring" evening of drinking.

During the course of the programme, the couple talk to Farage about his family life, whether he would like to be Prime Minister one day and the politician even ends up borrowing his host's pants after spilling drink down his own.

The programme takes place at the Salutation, the bed and breakfast on Knightrider Street in Sandwich - which is also part of the constituency where Farage is standing in a bid to be MP next year.

It is believed the show is part of a Gogglebox spin-off series with the "posh couple" who rose to fame with their drinking and no-nonsense antics.

Dom Parker is also set to be among this year's line-up for the winter sports contest The Jump.

Hosted by Davina McCall, Dom will feature alongside other reality TV stars including Joey Essex and tackle extreme events such as Bobsleigh and ski jumps.

Steph and Dom Meet Nigel Farage will air on Channel 4 at 10pm tonight. (Monday, December 15)
