Three cars and a horsebox were destroyed in a fire which spread to an office block on an industrial estate last night (Saturday).
The blaze began at Mytee Motors Ltd in the Sandwich Industrial Estate at about 6pm.
Fire crews from Deal and Ramsgate fought the flames, joined by the part-time firefighters from Sandwich.
Watch manager Paul Copley from Deal fire station said: "It is believed to have started in one of the cars although we don't know how."
He added: "The firefighting operation lasted about an hour and then we stayed for another half hour damping down.
"The three cars were completely burned out. Two of them were owned by people that worked there, the other one was there to be repaired."
A positive pressure ventilation fan was used to clear smoke from the office where fire had broken in through the window and to stop the fire spread.
A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hot spots.
CCTV cameras were pointing to the cars and the footage is being reviewed.
