Firefighters freed a man from an overturned car in Sandwich before he was airlifted to hospital, yesterday (Thursday).
Crews from Eastry and Deal attended the scene of the crash in Ramsgate Road at around 2.15am.
They released him by bending the door back and cutting the seatbelt.
A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue said: “Another man was out of the car before crews arrived.
“Crews assessed the casualties and administered first aid, before passing them over to the care of ambulance crews.”
One man suffering from minor head injuries, abdomen and lower arm pain was airlifted to King’s College Hospital in London. Another man was taken to William Harvey Hospital by land ambulance.
A spokesman for SECAmb said: “Both patients were able to get out of the vehicle but the air ambulance was required.”
The air ambulance landed on the road, between two roundabouts before the Esso garage on Ramsgate Road.
The road was closed by police.
