A Kent couple who star on reality TV show Gogglebox could be getting their own show on Channel 4.

Dom and Steph Parker, who own the Salutation in Sandwich, are in talks with station bosses for a possible chat show "with a difference".

They have been a hit with viewers of Gogglebox, in which the reactions of couples watching TV are filmed.

The Parkers have become known as "the posh couple on Gogglebox" and for their free-flowing drink.

Because of them and other families - the show has become such a hit that it now airs during prime time on Friday nights.

They are now in talks with Channel 4 bosses, who are "brainstorming ideas".

A Channel 4 spokesman said: "We are currently brainstorming ideas with some of the main people in the show about what else can be done with them.

"One of the main ideas is a chat show with a difference, featuring Steph and Dom.

"They are currently looking at it but feel it would have to be totally right for them before they agree."

Gogglebox is on Channel 4 tonight from 9pm.
