Chart-topping band The Real Thing will perform at a fundraising event tonight in memory of a Kent woman.
Dale Welleton is organising the evening of music at two venues in Sandwich as a tribute to his sister Debbie Dinnings.
She died aged 51 at the Guys and St Thomas' Cancer Village on September 16 having fought lymphoma for five months when she was first diagnosed.
The Crossrail employee was born in Rainham and lived in Beltinge, Herne Bay before moving to Canterbury and then Greenwich.
During the course of her treatment she received care from Macmillan Cancer Support and cash raised will go to the charity.
Mr Welleton, of Short Street, Sandwich, said his inspiration is to have a celebration of her life through music.
"She loved music and singing but, unlike me, didn't have the confidence," he said.
The event starts at 4pm with music from Dave Shepherd and hors d'oeuvres at the Hop & Huffkin in New Street followed by the main show at 6pm across the road at the Fleur de Lis in Delf Street.
There The Real Thing will headline, plus there will be a Take That tribute show, music from the Ben Millbury Experience, the 45s and Mr Welleton and Ron Green will perform at the end.
Entry to both events is £30 with all the proceeds going to Macmillan. Entry to see The Real Thing at the Fleur is £15.
