A man had to be cut free from his car after it rolled off a carriageway.

Firefighters were called to the scene off the A256 Eastry Bypass near Sandwich at 1.46am.

Crews from two engines worked with paramedics to plan the safest way to rescue the casualty, creating space with hydraulic equipment.

A door was removed from the car and the man was passed into the care of ambulance teams shorlty before 2.40am.
