A man was found dead in a Sandwich street this afternoon.

At least nine police officers and two ambulances were called to Loop Street where the body was discovered.

The alleyway has been taped off so the forensic team can carry out its investigations.

Police say the grim find is not currently being treated as suspicious.

A spokesman said: "Enquries are on-going in trying to establish what happened."
