The 43-year-old was arrested on the same day the incident was reported and later charged with two counts of sexual assault.

After denying the offences, he was convicted during a trial at Canterbury Crown Court in October last year.

The predator has today been sentenced at the same court where he was jailed for seven years and ordered to serve an extra year on licence.

Alderton-Ford will also be the subject of a sexual harm prevention order until further notice to reduce the risk of him reoffending following his release.

Det Con Emma Garcia said: “These were awful offences against young victims and I am pleased Alderton-Ford has been brought to justice for his actions.

“By refusing to admit what he had done, he forced his victims and their family to go through a trial and I am pleased the jury saw through his denials.

“I would like to praise the bravery of the victims in this case and I urge anyone who has been the victim of sexual offences to report it to police so we can ensure offenders are held responsible for their crimes.”
