The A258 Deal Road was blocked in both directions, with queueing traffic, thanks to an accident between The Street and Mill Lane, near Worth.
An off-duty police officer was at the scene at the time and helped to direct traffic.
Traffic travelling between Sandwich and Deal was affected.
The accident happened at 3.41pm. There were no serious injuries.
The route has now cleared.
