There will be tractors, animals, a funfair and plenty of stalls for all to enjoy at Sandwich Showground this weekend.

The Country Fair in Ash Road will be open today (Saturday) and Sunday from 10.30am until 5.30pm.

The main arena acts will start at 11.30am and this will include the Essex Dog Display Team, the Sky Birds of Prey demonstration, a reptile experience, petting zoo Farm on the Mooove and much more.

There will be pony and tractor rides for children, archery practice, a shooting range and trade stands selling gifts and food.

Live music will be played over lunchtime, as well as a funfair, bungee trampolines, and water walking activities.

The first two events at the site, Motor Madness and the Medieval Fayre, were great successes and this one promises to be just as entertaining.

The five-acre showground offers 30 acres of free parking.

Entry is £5 for adults and £3 for children in advance or £14 for a family.

On the day it will be £8 for adults, children £4 and £22 for families.
