The closure of am air-conditioning production plant has been confirmed, with an estimated 110 people to be unemployed as a result.
Eaton Williams closed its doors and ceased production at its Edenbridge site last week, with all employees set to leave the business on Wednesday, November 30.
Production at its Stoke-on-Trent site also ceased last week.
It is anticipated that 110 people will lose their jobs as a result of the closures, with approximately 20 employees being transferred to roles within parent company Nortek Global.
Eaton Williams became an affiliate of the Nortek umbrella in 2015.
Nortek currently owns successful manufacturing facilities in the UK, and the change of hands was intended to assist Eaton Williams in improving operation costs and financial performance.
Although the company has improved its losses since, the business has continued to face declines in both sales and profit, making it difficult to sustain.
The closure was approved by Nortek.
A new smaller facility in Tonbridge will remain open however.
Distribution and manufacturing will move to the West Midlands, to Nortek's plant in Brierley Hill.
Simon Parker, VP and general manager for Nortek Global HVAC Europe, commented: "It is with regret and despite every effort over the last 18 months the Eaton-Williams Group Ltd business will close on 30 November 2016.
"The leadership team and employees both at Eaton Williams and Nortek Global HVAC UK Ltd have worked exceptionally hard to turn the business around, but the losses became unsustainable.
"I am pleased to say that two of the product lines will transfer to Nortek Global HVAC Ltd, together with approximately 20 employees.
"The remaining employees are being made redundant and will receive full outplacement support.
"Many of the employees have considerable service and we wish to thank them for their support during this difficult time."
