A crash closed two lanes of the M25 near Sevenoaks this afternoon.

The three-car smash happened on Sunday at around 3.30pm on the clockwise side of the motorway between J5 (the M26) and J6 (Godstone).

Two outside lanes were closed while police and highways crews worked at the scene.

The road fully reopened just after 4.30pm but traffic is reported as heavy and motorists are warned to expect delays.

Kent Police attended and the incident was handed over to the neighbouring Surrey force who have been approached for more information.

It is not believed anyone has been seriously injured.
