Two people were arrested with drugs and possibly stolen alcohol.

A 39-year-old-man and a 36-year-old woman from the Sevenoaks area were found by officers in Greatness Street at around 4.30pm on Monday, April 9 after a report of a suspicious car.

Police seized nine bottles of spirits and wine along with wraps of what they believed to be class A drugs.

Both were arrested on suspicion of theft while the man was also arrested suspected of taking a vehicle without consent and possession of drugs.

The pair have been released pending further investigation.
