A suspected arsonist has been arrested following a series of bin fires.

Ten litter bins were reported to have been set alight in Sevenoaks town centre between September 17 and October 26.

Following inquiries and the examination of CCTV in the area, a 31-year-old woman from Sevenoaks has now been arrested on suspicion of arson.

She was taken in custody while the investigation continues.
