A man has been charged in connection with two burglaries which saw electrical equipment worth more than £8,000 stolen.

At 6.28pm on Saturday, officers received a report that goods including a smartphone, laptop and DVD player had been stolen from a home in Station Road, Otford, within the last 30 minutes.

While officers were at the scene they received reports that another property had been targeted in the same road, with electrical items and jewellery taken.
