Congestion built up on the M25 after a car caught fire.

All lanes have reopened following the blaze between junction 6 and junction 5 of the M25 heading into Kent.

At its worst there were queues for more than two miles after traffic was briefly held and then two lanes of four remained closed.

Fire crews attended and put out the flames and have left the scene.
