A secret bathroom inside Winston Churchill's Chartwell home, near Sevenoaks, was featured on Netflix.

The former Prime Minister's Kent residence was one of the attractions in the comedy series "Jack Whitehall: Travels with My Father".

The show was created in 2017 and its fifth season aired this week.

It tells the adventures of comedian and actor Jack Whitehall and his father, Michael, as they "take unusual and amusing trips to foreign lands in an attempt to strengthen their bond."

Chartwell was featured on the first episode of the new season, while Jack and his dad make their way through rural Kent.

Michael is a big fan of Winston Churchill's, and according to his son, believes the Prime Minister was "the greatest leader that ever lived".

They first visit the drawing room, which was decorated by Churchill's wife Clementine and where the family would spend a lot of time together.

The tour then carries on into Churchill's study. Property curator Katherine Carter, who conducted the tour, described the room as "the beating heart of Chartwell".

Katherine goes on to reveal a secret bedroom behind one of the doors in the study.

The bedroom was only open to a few visitors in the last few years and was left just as the Prime Minister had it.

To the surprise of Jack and his dad, there was another surprise to come.

The corridor-like loo had a sink, a toilet, and of course, a bathtub.

Churchill was known for taking two baths a day, sometimes even three.

The bathtub was seen as an extension of his office, as he would carry on with his work from there.

He would also often have one of his secretaries sat just around the corner helping him and taking notes.
