Cow stuck on the M25 near Sevenoaks halts traffic

A cow which made its way onto the M25 caused traffic chaos.

Traffic wasn't moo-ving as officers tried to get it to safety close to the Clackett Lane services near Sevenoaks.

All traffic was held in both directions near Junction 6 for the A22 at Godstone.

Cameras showed all traffic was stationary just after 9am on the anti-clockwise side of the motorway.

One motorist, Mark Nolan, said: "Stuck in traffic #J6 #M25. I think there’s a large animal on the motorway."

While Twitter user James pictured the cow in the middle of the road, writing: "This is what happens when you travel on the M25. Oh dear."
