Drivers are being warned to expect delays on the M26 following a crash.

Traffic heading towards London is moving slowly between on the approach to the M25 interchange, with queues stretching back for up to three miles.

The delay is due to an accident which took place at around 6.30am near junction 2, for Wrotham.

Motorists are being warned of delays.

Emergency services are currently at the scene and drivers are being advised to allow extra time for journeys.

A police spokesman said: "Officers were called to a road traffic collision involving two vehicles near junction 2 of the westbound carriageway of the M26 shortly after 6.30am on May 9.
