Man stabbed on The Meadway in Sevenoaks and rushed to London hospital via air ambulance

An arrest has been made after a man was stabbed.

The victim in his 30s was treated on The Meadway near Bradbourne Lakes, Sevenoaks which remains cordoned off by police.

Officers attended the scene yesterday at 11.55pm after being called to a disturbance.

Ambulance crews treated the man for stab wounds and was later taken to a London hospital for medical attention.

He has since been discharged.

A 40-year-old man from Sevenoaks was later arrested on suspicion of assault and was taken into custody.

It is understood that the victim and suspect are known to each other.
