Drink drive arrest after buggy crashes into fence in Halstead near Sevenoaks

A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a vehicle collided with a fence.

Police were called to Halstead village, near Sevenoaks, after a green Kawasaki buggy was involved in a crash.

The vehicle's front right wheel was heavily damaged in the accident which happened last night.

Kent Police's Sevenoaks team tweeted: "Team one attended a report of a drink driver in Halstead where the suspect crashed into a fence.

"One breath test later and suspect is under arrest on suspicion of drink driving and carted off to custody."

Police have been contacted for more information.
