"Motorists have personal responsibility to drive not only within the law but also to the conditions of the road to ensure they play their part in making our roads safe for everyone."

Anyone who witnesses an offence being committed on the road should report it by calling 999, or 101 in a non-emergency, when it is safe to do so.
