Drivers are facing long delays on the M25 following a crash.

One lane is closed clockwise between Junction 6 (Godstone interchange) and Junction 5 for the M26/A21 (Sevenoaks).

It is due to a collision involving a van which has gone off the motorway and into some bushes.

It happened about one mile after Junction 5.

National Highways says traffic is not expected to clear until around noon.

A spokeswoman for Kent Fire and Rescue said: “We was called at 9.56am to reports a crash between Junction 6 for the Godstone Interchange and Junction 5 for Sevenoaks.

“One fire engine attended and crews helped with scene safety.”
