Police appeal after jewellery store in High Street, Sevenoaks, targeted

Police are appealing for information after a break-in at a town centre jewellers.

Officers were called to the business in High Street, Sevenoaks, at about 1.45am today.

The front window was damaged and a quantity of jewellery was reported stolen.

Patrols attended the area and spotted two suspects, who had scarves covering their faces, who fled the scene on cycles.

One was described as having an orange bag.

Detective Constable Megan Collins, of the Kent Crime Squad, said: “We are appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident or has information that may assist our investigation, to call our appeal line.

“Drivers with dashcam and residents or businesses with private CCTV are also asked to check for relevant footage.”
