A police investigation has started after reports emerged of an assault in Sevenoaks.

It is alleged that a man was assaulted in an area behind a disused store in the High Street on the evening of Wednesday May 5.

Kent Police has confirmed that officers attended the scene and cordoned off the area.

Enquiries are ongoing.
