kmfm has again given someone the best start to the weekend, with £1,000 cash just for sending a text.

Rob Wills on Drivetime called Shiralee Baumhauer, who was chosen at random from the thousands of entries to tell her that she had won the cash and that they were on their way to deliver it to her.

Shiralee said she has never won anything before and texted in with less than 10 minutes to enter, thought nothing more of it and went to meet her friend at the pub.

It was while she was pulled up to the Little Brown Jug at Bough Beech near Sevenoaks that she got the call.

Shiralee, who is deputy head teacher at Fosse Bank School in Hildenborough, was delighted with her win.

She said she thought it was a cold call when Rob asked her how to pronounce her name.
