Drivers were warned of delays on a busy dual carriageway after a rush-hour crash.

The A21 Tonbridge Bypass at Sevenoaks Weald had been partially blocked southbound.

Queuing traffic caused delays in the area following an incident at about 5pm.

The road was blocked between the A225 Hildenborough and Sevenoaks junction and the A26 turn-off for Tonbridge.

It is not yet known whether anyone has suffered serious injuries.

The road has since reopened.

Police and the ambulance service have been asked for more information.
