A man has been arrested and charged after officers launched an investigation into the theft of gardening power tools from a pickup truck.

Kent Police was called on Friday, March 9, when it was reported property had been stolen from an Isuzu truck in Crouch House Road, Edenbridge.

It is alleged a window was smashed to access the vehicle. A dog which had been briefly left inside by the owner was reported missing, but later found safe and well.
