A man's been charged with assaulting an off-duty PCSO who tried to help after a crash in Edenbridge.

Gary Lloyd, 27 and of Romani Way, is alleged to have assaulted the police support officer after being involved in the two-vehicle collision in High Street at 5.15pm last night.

He has been bailed to attend to attend Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on February 28.

The victim was not injured.
