Man in court after stabbing in Sevenoaks

A man has appeared in court after another man was stabbed.

Police were called to Greatness Mill Court, Sevenoaks, to reports a man in his 20s had been assaulted.

The call was made at around 3pm on Monday.

The force has said the victim suffered injuries consistent with stab wounds and he was taken to a London hospital.

He has since been discharged.

James Jackson, of the same address, who is known to the victim, was arrested and charged with wounding with intent.

The 24-year-old appeared before Medway Magistrates' Court yesterday where he was remanded to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Wedesday, May 4.
