Entrepreneurs looking to network across Sevenoaks may be able to do so with ease thanks to a new business guide launched by the council.

The Sevenoaks District Business Directory and Guide contains information on companies within the district and surrounding areas and is available not only online but also in a hard copy.

It aims to help business owners to expand their networks and improve marketing opportunities.

The guide is especially useful to people who are thinking of, or have recently set up a new business as it provides more than 1,000 contacts all in one handy place.

It was put together after local business owners requested more information and help to maximise business, marketing and networking opportunities and to develop local supply chains.

As well as details of business contacts, the guide provides details of various departments in Sevenoaks District Council and information on agencies to support new and existing businesses with advice and funding.
