Pedestrian 'serious' after being struck by car

KENT Police have appealed for witnesses to an incident in which a woman pedestrian was seriously injured.

The incident happened on Tuesday night at about 6.50pm in Main Road, Sundridge,

near Sevenoaks.

A silver BMW 3 series car travelling towards Sevenoaks was in collision with a local woman in her 70s. She was taken to hospital in Farnborough.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the police's serious collision investigation unit witness line on 01622 798538.

The road was closed while the emergency services dealt with the incident and re-opened by 1.30am.
