An Edenbridge schoolgirl is to be the face of a national poster campaign.
Pippa Vickers, who is a childhood survivor of cancer, will be asking people to clear out their wardrobes to save lives.
Her face will feature on marketing material for TK Maxx's Give Up Clothes for Good campaign in support of Cancer Research UK for Children and Young People.
When sold in Cancer Research UK shops, each bag of items donated could raise up to £25 to help fund research into cancer in children.
Pippa was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in May 2017, but the nine-year-old has now completed her treatment and is doing well at school in East Grinstead.
Proud mum Laura said: "Pippa had an amazing day doing the photoshoot for the posters. She’s very happy in front of the camera and has since added modelling to her list of possible careers."
Lynn Daly, spokesman for Cancer Research UK for Children and Young People in the South East, said: "We're grateful to the Vickers family for their support during these unprecedented times. The truth is COVID-19 has slowed us down, but we will never stop."
Give Up Clothes for Good is one of the UK’s longest running clothes collection campaigns.
People can donate at any TK Maxx store, all year round, including Tunbridge Wells and Maidstone.
