Police appeal for witnesses following accident in B2211 Sundridge Road, in Chevening near Sevenoaks, which left 63-year-old seriously injured

Police want to speak with anyone who witnessed an accident that left a 63-year-old man with serious injuries.

A white Fiat van and a black Volkswagen van collided head-on while travelling on the B2211 Sundridge Road in Chevening, near Sevenoaks at 1.34pm yesterday. (Friday, June 27)

The driver of the Fiat, a 63-year-old man from Westerham, was airlifted to St George's Hospital in London with what police describe as 'serious injuries.'

The two occupants of the VW were taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital with minor injuries.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the vans prior to the incident is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 01622 798538.
