Police called on sunbather near Ightham Mote

Police called to an alleged flashing incident in a field near Ightham Mote discovered only a partially clothed sunbather, the force has said.

Concerns were raised about the behaviour of the man lying near a footpath off the A227 Ightham Road at 1.14 on Sunday, July 31.

A Kent Police spokesman said: "Officers attended the scene and spoke to the man, who said he was sunbathing. He was given advice about his conduct. No offences have been committed."

The incident comes after a man flashed two women on a footpath between Castle Farm Road and Mill Lane, Shoreham on Tuesday, July 26.

The suspect is described as white, middle-aged and with tanned skin. He had short thinning hair and was stocky. He is believed to be around 5ft 8ins tall.
