Sevenoaks: Police make arrest after bulk clothing theft

Police officers have arrested three men from in connection with a bulk theft of clothing from a department store.

Patrols were called to a report that a large amount of clothing was being stolen from a department store in London Road, Sevenoaks, at around 6.30pm on Wednesday.

Officers attended the area and a 47-year-old man from Bromley was arrested in London Road on suspicion of theft.

A Nissan Qashqai was subsequently stopped by patrols on Polhill, Halstead and officers arrested two men from Bromley aged 46 and 48 on suspicion of theft.

A quantity of clothing was later recovered. All three have been released under investigation.
