A woman has been cut free from her car after an accident on the A21 near Sevenoaks.

The southbound part of the Sevenoaks by pass is currently closed going between Westerham Road and Morleys Roundabout following the crash.

Kent Police was called at 9.26am following the one-vehicle collision. It involved a silver Peugeot 207.

Firefighters attended the incident and used rescue equipment to remove the roof of the car to free the trapped woman.

The area was made safe and the woman has been taken to hospital by air ambulance.
