M26 near Sevenoaks: Firefighters called to help after car overturns

Emergency services were called to a stretch of the M26 this morning after a car overturned.

Firefighters and ambulance crews raced to the Kent-bound carriageway, near junction 2A, just after 1am.

A car had rolled on its roof and into a ditch.

The driver and passenger had managed to get out of the vehicle and were given first aid by firefighters before being handed into the care of the South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb).

Crews left the scene around 2.20am.

No-one is believed to have been seriously injured.
