Four people were injured in a head-on crash in West Kingsdown.

Police officers are appealing for witnesses following the serious collision in West Kingsdown on Friday.

Four people were taken to hospital, two in a serious condition, when a Peugeot 308 and a Ford Focus travelling opposite directions on the A20 London Road were involved in a head-on collision just after 11.30pm.

One of the cars was overturned and the road was closed for seven hours while forensic crash investigators examined the scene.
