KENT Police have formally identified a man who died in a car crash at Ide Hill, near Sevenoaks, on Wednesday, June 27.

He was 35-year-old year old Richard Dunwell of Camberwell Lane, Ide Hill.

In a statement members of Mr Dunwell’s family said: "Richard lived a quiet life in the village of Ide Hill and kept himself to himself.

"He always showed great kindness to others, often putting their needs before his own. He loved to spend his spare time enjoying the relaxing sport of fishing.

"He was a beloved son, brother and uncle who will be greatly missed by all who knew him."

An inquest into Mr Dunwell’s death was opened at adjourned on Thursday (July 5).
