A car fire is causing traffic problems and delays for motorists.

Police are at the scene and have shut one lane of the A21 northbound between the A225 and A25, near Sevenoaks.

There are around two miles of congestion in the area and delays of up to 30 minutes are expected.

National Highways say the event is expected to clear between 15:30pm and 15:45pm.

Police and the fire service have been contacted for more information.
