A CCTV image has been released after a purse was stolen from a woman shopping in Edenbridge.

Police say the victim was targeted while in a shop in Fircroft Way, at around 4.30pm on Tuesday September 5; her purse being stolen as she reached for an item on a lower shelf.

An investigation is underway to recover the purse which contained bank cards and also an item of particular sentimental value.

Officers are now able to release a CCTV image of a man who may be able to assist with their enquiries.
