A CCTV image has been released after a woman’s purse was stolen from her bag in a birthday card shop.

The victim was inside Card Factory in Bligh’s Walk, Sevenoaks, on Friday, December 6, when the item was taken.

It happened at around 1.25pm and officers are now appealing for anyone who recognises the woman to come forward with information.

She was wearing a black coat, dark trousers and black shoes as well as a bag across her chest.
