Television presenter, fashion model and radio host Lisa Snowdon has been revealed as the face of a breast cancer fundraising event being held in Kent next month.
Lisa, 42, will be making her way to Sevenoaks town on Saturday, October 4 for a street party marking the opening of Sevenoaks Pink Week - a week dedicated to raising awareness of Breast Cancer Care.
The former host of Living TV reality show Britain's Next Top Model and co-host of Capital Breakfast radio show will be supporting organiser Stephanie Harrison in her bid to raise awareness for the cause.
Lisa, former girlfriend of hollywood star, George Clooney, became an ambassador for Breast Cancer Care in 2005 after both her aunt and grandmother were diagnosed with the disease and is a passionate supporter of the charity.
In 2012 the TV presenter also admitted experiencing a scare when she found a lump in one of her breasts. Following a check up it was revealed that it was a micro-calcification (deposits of calcium in the milk ducts), which was not dangerous to her health.
Steph of Bradbourne Vale Road, who is organising the street party, in London Road for the second year said: "It's great that Lisa is on board, she is a great supporter of the cause and is trying her best to do as much as she can for Sevenoaks Pink Week.
"I'm really hoping that this year we can raise as much awareness as possible for Breast Cancer Care and that it will be the first port of call for anyone who may need help or guidance.
"Over 3,000 people passed through the street party last year so we're hoping this year we can top that."
Best-selling author Martina Cole has previously suffered from cancer and will also be attending the event for the second time where she will be signing copies of her new book at the Chapel hair salon.
"Martina is a really good friend of mine and does so much for Breast Cancer Care. She is always more than happy to help and has previously raised an incredible amount of money" - Stephanie Harrison
Martina has previously raised thousands of pounds for Breast Cancer Care through 'an audience with' style shows and book signings. She also appeared at events at Knole Academy and Sevenoaks School in the High Street.
Steph said: "Martina is a really good friend of mine and does so much for Breast Cancer Care. She is always more than happy to help and has previously raised an incredible amount of money.
"It is great that she'll be attending the street party again this year."
A variety of events will be taking place throughout the week. The Chinaman in the High Street will be revealing a specially designed window front in a bid to show their support for the cause along with other shops raising displays in their storefronts.
There will be a competition later in the week to judge the best store window.
The street party will have something for everyone including an amateur boxing club bringing a ring and sumo suits, crafts and games, beauty treatments, live music and endless free food.
Steph is working alongside members of the Sevenoaks Town Council, Specsavers, the Sevenoaks lady joggers, teachers and local businesses to make the town's second street party a success.
Sevenoaks Pink Week will run from Saturday, October 4 - Saturday, October 11.
