Police have arrested a man on suspicion of burglary following the theft of a number of theatrical costumes.

The costumes were taken from Knockholt Village Hall between June 11 and 12. The clothing, used by a local amateur theatre group, were stored at the hall.

A 45 year-old man was today arrested in connection with the offence at a car park in Otford Road, Sevenoaks.

The man, who is from Orpington, remains in police custody.
