A parish council has objected plans to transform a Sevenoaks farmhouse into 10 new homes.
An application to turn Bluebell Farmhouse in Seal into residential units has been submitted to the council.
If approved 10 new homes would be incorporated into the existing structure in Church Street in a bid to prevent any damage to the greenbelt land on which it sits.
The site is visible within the surrounding landscape so no additional built development has been proposed by the applicant for this reason.
The application comprises five 2-bedroom, three 3-bedroom and two 4-bedroom homes which would vary between one and two-storey depending on location within the site.
There would be 27 parking spaces provided, two for Penfield Cottage outside of the application area, and 25 to serve the 10 proposed units.
An internalised bin and cycle store and 24 cycle spaces would also be created.
Seal Parish Council has submitted an objection to the application. Reasons for the objection include claims that the development would add to the traffic on a very narrow country lane with poor visibility and "an already busy and problematic junction from Church Street onto the A25."
Councillors also suggested that conditions to limit exterior lighting on the sight which is visible from Seal Church should be put in place to protect the grade 1 listed building.
A decision is due on June 15.
