Two crashes on the same stretch of motorway caused long delays this afternoon.
The west-bound carriageway of the M26 was closed between junction 2a and junction 1 for the M25 and the A21 at around 1pm after a car flipped.
Emergency services including police, paramedics and firefighters were called.
A man in his 30s was taken out of the car and treated for injuries.
He was taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury with a possible neck injury.
The road reopened shortly before 3pm.
There were then reports of another crash around junction 2a, again on the west-bound carriageway, at around 3.30pm.
The road had reopened by 4.30pm and tailbacks have now cleared.
