The team at a hairdressing salon in Kent have been shortlisted for two local business awards.

The Daniel Jordan salon in Sevenoaks has received nominations for the New Business Award and Customer Choice Award after only one year of trading.

The team are due to find out the results at a black-tie awards ceremony in September.

Salon owner, Daniel Jordan said: "It’s a great achievement to have been nominated for these awards following our first year trading.

"The team work tirelessly to ensure quality hairdressing and an excellent salon experience is delivered every time."

Although spending the majority of his time in the salon on the High Street, Daniel spent June working the men's fashion weeks in Europe.

He headed the Richard James SS15 show and has been assisting shows in Milan.

The black tie awards ceremony will be held at the Coolings Garden Centre’s brand new building on Friday September 26.

Daniel and his team will have to wait however until the dazzling black tie awards ceremony to be held at the Coolings Garden Centre’s brand new building on 26th September 2014.
