A Kent hairdressing salon owner is set to travel to California to share his experience in hairdressing with a global audience.

Daniel Jordan of Daniel Jordan London in the High Street, Sevenoaks will stay in San Diego for three days to present his hairdressing skills at Unite Global Session 2014, a bi annual celebration of the Unite Haircare brand.

He will also be taking to the stage at the historic Balboa Theatre in downtown San Diego's Horton Plaza to an audience of 1500 hairdressers.

Selected for his fashion and celebrity work, Daniel will join a string of influential hair artists from around the world including only three others from the UK.

He said: "Being part of this amazing show will be phenomenal, sharing my knowledge in education is equally exciting and I look forward to heading to San Diego very soon."

Daniel Jordan London opened in Sevenoaks in June 2013 and has been shortlisted in the Sevenoaks Business Awards 2014 in two categories; Customer Choice and New Business.
