A driver who almost hit the front of a police car before speeding away at 90mph has recieved points on their licence.

A sergeant was tailgated by a Golf in Sevenoaks this morning, which then overtook and almost clipped the police car.

According to a Tweet by @KentPolice7oaks, the driver, when pulled over, said: “I don't believe I've done anything wrong.”

The police Tweet added: “Driver suitable educated and issued traffic offence report.

“With six point already on his licence he will be receiving more points soon for his actions today.”

Police have been contacted for more information.
